Serving missionaries with a comfortable home while traveling through the Cincinnati area on deputation or furlough.
Friendship Baptist Church is blessed to own a lovely two family home near our church. It is our goal to use it to bless missionaries who are traveling through the Cincinnati area either on deputation or on furlough. We offer it to the missionaries who are supported by Friendship as a base when they are on furlough. It is available for other missionaries as they travel with a limit of a two week stay. Each apartment in the home has two bedrooms (a queen bed and two twin beds), a furnished kitchen, bath and living area. We can accommodate larger families by opening the entire home to them. A baby crib is available when needed and there is a washer and dryer.
The home is located on six acres, so even though it is situated in a suburban area there is a large back yard which affords children a great place to play outside.
Marvin and Nancy Quante oversee the ministry of the Friendship Mission Home. Now retired from his profession at Proctor and Gamble, Marvin has worked part time for Friendship Baptist Church for several years, maintaining our buildings and setting up for various events.
